Rules

1) Account Rules

These rules apply to your personal account on the Server.

1.1 - Nicknames: Your nickname must be appropriate. You may not use names containing sexual content, swear words, hate speech, or offensive terminology.
1.2 - Skins: Your skin must be appropriate. You may not use skins depicting nudity, sexually explicit acts, or offensive symbols (e.g., hate symbols).
1.3 - Impersonation: You may not impersonate Staff members, Partners, or other players via nicknames or skins.
1.4 - Account Trading: Buying, selling, transferring, or hacking accounts is strictly prohibited.
1.5 - Account Limit: You may not create more than six (6) accounts per IP address.
1.5.1 - You may not play on more than six (6) accounts simultaneously from a single IP address.
1.6 - Ban Evasion: Using alternate accounts to bypass a punishment on your main account is strictly forbidden and will result in a permanent ban on all associated accounts.
1.7 - Fair Play: You may not use alternate accounts to gain an unfair advantage (e.g., AFK farming, boosting stats, or bypassing server limits).
1.8 - Responsibility: You are solely responsible for your account security. Punishments are applied to the account, regardless of who was playing at the time.

2) Communication Rules

These rules apply to all chat channels (Global, Local, Private), signs, books, voice chat, etc.

2.1 - Language: allowed only English.
2.2 - Insults: You may not insult other players, even indirectly or without naming a specific person.
2.3 - Spamming: You may not flood the chat. Sending more than 3 similar or identical messages within one minute is prohibited.
2.3.1 - You may not coordinate with others or use alternate accounts to bypass chat restrictions.
2.4 - Symbol Spam: You may not clutter the chat with meaningless characters (e.g., "!!!!!!!", "..........").
2.4.1 - Caps Lock: Messages containing more than 50% capital letters (in sentences longer than two words) are considered shouting and are prohibited.
2.5 - Survey Spam: Organizing chat floods (e.g., "Type + in chat if...") is prohibited.
2.5.1 - Organizers of such floods will receive double punishment. Participants may be temporarily muted.
2.6 - Profanity: The use of obscene language (including censored, veiled, or implied profanity) is prohibited.
2.7 - Inappropriate Content: NSFW behavior, sexual content, and adult topics are strictly prohibited.
2.8 - Deception: Misleading players with the intent to harm or troll (e.g., "Press Alt+F4 for free items") is prohibited.
2.9 - Toxicity: Toxic behavior, excessive aggression, and harassment are prohibited.
2.10 - Spreading malicious misinformation or inciting harassment against the Server/Staff is prohibited. For constructive feedback, please contact us.
2.10.1 - Insulting the Server/Project or using offensive names regarding it is strictly forbidden.
2.11 - Discrimination: Racism, sexism, homophobia, and discrimination based on religion, nationality, or political views are strictly prohibited.
2.12 - Disrespect towards Staff: You must treat Staff and Partners with respect. The following are prohibited:
    2.12.1 - Jokes that undermine Staff authority.
    2.12.2 - Threatening Staff (e.g., with reports or demotion).
    2.12.3 - Begging Staff for items, creative mode, or resources.
    2.12.4 - Begging Staff to remove punishments.
2.13 - Links: You may not send external links in chat (unless whitelisted).
2.14 - Real Money Trading (RMT): Selling in-game items/services for real money or cross-game trading is strictly prohibited.
2.15 - Sensitive Topics: Political discussions and propaganda (including Nazism, terrorism, drugs, weaponry) are prohibited.
2.16 - Relatives: Mentioning or insulting a player's relatives (parents, siblings, etc.) is strictly prohibited.
2.17 - Advertising:
    2.17.1 - You may not advertise cheats, hacks, stores, or websites.
    2.17.2 - You may not advertise other servers or third-party projects (including via books or items).
    2.17.3 - You may not advertise via private messages.
    2.17.4 - You may not share personal contact info (social media/Discord invites) in public chat.
2.18 - Doxing: Sharing or requesting personal information (real names, addresses, photos, phone numbers) is strictly forbidden.
2.19 - Threats: Death threats, encouraging self-harm, or making credible real-life threats will result in an immediate permanent ban.
2.20 - Staff Discretion: Staff reserves the right to punish actions not explicitly listed here if they disrupt the community or violate the spirit of the rules.

3) Global Gameplay Rules

These rules apply to all game modes on the Server.

3.1 - Connection:
3.1.1 - You may not use VPNs or Proxies.
3.1.2 - You may not spam connection requests (fast-connecting/botting).
3.2 - Lag Machines: Intentional attempts to lag or crash the Server are prohibited.
3.3 - Confession: Admitting to cheating is treated as cheating.
3.4 - Cheating: You may not use hacked clients, macros, auto-clickers, x-ray, or any unauthorized modifications to gain an unfair advantage.
3.4.1 - Refusing or delaying a Staff screen share/check is considered an admission of guilt.
3.4.2 - Assisting or knowingly playing with a cheater is prohibited.
3.5 - Command Spam: You may not spam commands (e.g., /pay) more than 3 times per minute.
3.6 - Compliance: If a Staff member suspects you of cheating, you must follow their instructions. Logging out or stalling will result in a ban.
3.7 - False Reports: Filing fake reports against other players is prohibited.
3.8 - Exploits:
    3.8.1 - You may not exploit Server or plugin bugs.
    3.8.2 - You may not exploit game mechanics (e.g., kill farming, stat boosting).
    3.8.3 - If you find a bug, report it to Staff for a potential reward.
3.9 - Clans: You may not create Clans/Guilds with offensive names or tags.
3.10 - Misinformation: Spreading false information about the Server or game mechanics is prohibited.
3.11 - Provocation: Provoking other players to violate rules is prohibited.
3.12 - Trap Blocking: You may not block safe-zone exits (e.g., in the Nether or End).
3.13 - Common Sense: Not everything technically possible is permitted. Please use common sense.

4) Mode-Specific Rules

These are additional rules that apply depending on the game mode you are playing.

4.1 - Anarchy:
4.1.1 - Griefing is fully permitted.
4.1.2 - Scamming and trapping other players are permitted (in-game items only).
4.2 - Grief:
4.2.1 - Griefing is allowed, EXCEPT via explosions (TNT, Crystals, Anchors, Withers).
4.2.2 - Scamming and trapping other players are permitted.
4.3 - Survival:
    4.3.1 - Griefing is strictly prohibited.
    4.3.2 - Scamming and trapping other players are strictly prohibited.
    4.3.3 - PvP is allowed (unless toggled off in the region).
    4.3.4 - TP-Trapping/Killing is prohibited.

5) Discord Rules

These rules apply to Village V Network Discord group.

5.1 - All rules listed in Section 2 - Communication Rules also apply to the Village V Network Discord group.
5.2 - You agree with Discord Community Rules and Developing Server Rules;
5.3 - The Discord group is divided into categories based on language (e.g., English). You must only use the language that corresponds to the category you are in. Using other languages in a specific language category is prohibited.
5.4 - Each channel has its own specific topic, which you can find by reading its description. Talk in the channel only about its topic.
5.5 - Posting content in the wrong channel (e.g., trading in a global-chat or not speaking English in the English category) may result in your message being deleted or a temporary mute.
